RIP Jim

My grandmother's brother passed yesterday. It was out of the blue, and I think that is why it is so unsettling. It really wasn't too long ago since I saw him and his wife, Anne. He seemed as spry and full of life as ever.

What makes it even worse is that my Aunt Fran's, the one in New Orleans with cancer in a lot of organs, body is rejecting the treatments and is going downhill quick. She might not make it through the end of next month.
