I need to get a new service. who should I go with. I've got a Samsung/Verizon phone with no carrier. I'll buy a new phone if though if I go with a different company. I need to do it in the next few days. Suggestions, ideas, comments, experiences...

I've had my cell phone for 4 years...before camera phones existed. Not sure why some people need new phones every 3 months.

In my experience, all cell phone companies are dastardly and will try very, very hard to screw you every which way they can. That being said, Verizon is supposedly the lesser of many evils. Just read the fine print and you'll be fine.

So I've never really had a cell phone for more than 48 hours, but from what I hear, Rogers AT&T Wireless is a good way to go. (I honestly don't know where that's offered, so I'm sorry if you've never heard of it because I am not even going to pretend I know anything about anything when it comes to cell phones).

i went with tmobile because its pretty cheap for me when i was by myself on my plan. i got 300 minutes with my faves, night and weekends, unlimited texting and data for my sidekick lx and insurance on my phone and it ran me about 75 a month. i could have gone with helio and got about the same thing for about 60 or 70. thats just what i got though. btw texting and data for the sidekicks are together in their own plan which is 20 dollars. if you get a different phone you have to pay them separately which is 20 for the data and 15 for the texting.

So yeah...my battery died and I need a new one, so sign my ass up.
